Selina Chu was an undergraduate student at Duke University majoring in economics and sociology. She worked in the Business Analysis team and conducted a case study on the mortgage company First Franklin. Selina researched the impact of the promulgation and preemption of the Georgia Fair Lending Act on the development of First Franklin and the larger mortgage industry. Selina was interested in how laws affect business decisions leading up to the Global Financial Crisis.
