Faith Schwartz is currently the President of Housing Finance Strategies, an organization focused on providing services to a broad constituency of mortgage influencers. She spent the first fourteen years of her career providing risk management assistance for prime lending companies including, Dominion Bankshares Mortgage, TMC Mortgage, and Fieldstone. After this, she then became the Director of Alternative Markets at Freddie Mac, where she launched a pilot program to investigate predatory lending practices. Following her work with Freddie Mac, she then became the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Enterprise Risk, at Option One where she led efforts to eliminate five-year prepayment penalties and mandatory arbitration. While with Option One, she served on the Federal Reserve’s Community Advisory Board. She then became the Executive Director of Hope Now Alliance, a nonprofit formed as a response to the financial crisis that brought together government agencies, nonprofits, banks and loan servicers. Hope Now worked to prevent foreclosures and encourage communication between borrowers and loan servicers. Schwartz holds a BSBA in Accounting from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Pittsburg- Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
